5 Tips for Baking Irresistible Dog Treats + BONUS Recipe
Baking healthy, tasty treats for your furry family members means you’re 100% in control of the ingredients. You’ll know exactly what goes into every bite, ensuring a wholesome, safe snack for your pet. Here are some baking tips and a dog cookie recipe we’ve tested and loved.

5 Baking Tips for Pampered Pups

  1. Use Quality Ingredients: Opt for fresh, natural ingredients. Veggies like carrots or sweet potatoes are great for your dog’s health.

  2. Avoid Toxic Foods: Certain foods, such as chocolate, onions, and grapes, are harmful for dogs. Gluten can also be an issue for some pups. Always double-check the safety of every ingredient based on your dog’s needs.

  3. Experiment with Different Flavors: Dogs love variety, so mix it up! Offer a diverse range of fruits, veggies, and proteins to satisfy their palate.

  4. Adjust the Size: Select a cookie-cutter that fits your dog’s size. Small pups will appreciate bite-sized treats, while larger dogs can handle bigger snacks.

  5. Limit Intake: While homemade treats are healthier than store-bought alternatives, they should still be given in moderation – as a supplement or a reward, not a main meal.

Ingredients

  • 1 peeled and mashed banana

  • 2/3 cup (60g) ground oats
